In 1987, the Foy family transformed Hyeholde into an upscale restaurant while preserving its cozy charm. They expanded the space by connecting it to a contemporary residence, adding the Cabaret as a nightclub. The Foys enhanced the menu and wine selection without compromising the French country inn atmosphere. In 1991, Barbara and Quentin McKenna repurchased Hyeholde, preserving its beauty and creating a new magic castle. Barbara has continued to provide high-quality food and service since Quentin's passing in 2003. Hyeholde is renowned for its rich history, natural beauty, and popularity among locals, visitors, and business persons. Chef Chris will now bring a fresh perspective to the menu while maintaining the restaurant's charm, emphasizing culinary innovation and locally-sourced ingredients.
