Robert Burns Night

Scotch & Single Malt Tasting 5:30PM - $40 per person

Dinner & Festivities 6:30PM - $135 per person

Robert Burns is most famous for his poetry and songs that celebrate the beauty of Scotland and its people. One of his best- known works is “Auld Lang Syne,” a song often sung to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one. Burns’ ability to capture the essence of everyday life and convey deep emotions has earned him recognition as Scotland’s national poet. Other notable works include “Tam O’Shanter,” “To a Mouse,” and “A Red, Red Rose.” His impact on literature and Scottish culture is profound, and Burns remains an enduring figure, celebrated annually on Burns Night. The tradition of Burns Night began a few years after the poet’s death in 1796 when a group of his friends gathered to commemorate his life and literary contributions. They decided to host a dinner on the anniversary of his birth, January 25th, and thus started the annual Burns Night Celebration. The evening typically includes the recitation of Burns’ poetry, the famous “Address to a Haggis,” and toasts to various aspects of Scottish culture. Bagpipes play a significant role, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
